Aerial Seeding

Two years ago we found an increasing demand for aerial seeding both in the agricultural and pastoral sectors.  Ryellen Heliwork researched the available seed distribution equipment available for the R44 and found the Helipod seeding system to suit our operation.  The system is suitable because of its quick and easy installation as well as its ease of relocation.  The helipods are fixed to the helicopter so as long as the client has fuel on hand there is no need for a support vehicle which cuts down cost to the client. We have seeded large paddocks to narrow pipelines and have found the helipod system coupled with our Trimble differential GPS, very accurate and time efficient.

Seeding can be tailored to the land-holders individual requirements with regards to seeding rates and coverage areas.
