Aerial Spraying

The R44 has been a proven helicopter in the aerial agricultural spraying field and that is why Ryellen Heliwork has chosen it to carry the burden of our spraying division.  We have specialized in sugar cane spraying over the past 15 years and continue to do so.  We have also branched into pasture spraying on cattle properties and into the mining sector for control of noxious weeds. 

Aquatic weeds on waterways and water storages are also combated by Ryellen Heliwork for local councils and government departments as well as a major contract with the local council for mosquito control on the tidal wetlands.  Our helicopters are equipped with Helipod and Simplex spray systems and are guided by Trimble differential GPS for accurate and efficient chemical application.

A support vehicle with water, chemical and fuel works with the helicopter and ensures a fast and efficient service for spraying operations.
